    REMOVE DRIVER SIDE KNEE AIRBAG ASSEMBLY (for LHD)

    REMOVE GLOVE COMPARTMENT DOOR ASSEMBLY (for RHD)

      Remove the 5 screws <F>.

    2. A019KKE

      Disengage the claw, 4 clips and guide.

    3. Disconnect each connector and remove the glove compartment door assembly.

    REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL JUNCTION BLOCK ASSEMBLY (for LHD)


    1. A019LCF

      Disconnect the 2 connectors.

    2. A019NWNE01

      Disengage the 2 claws as shown in the illustration and disconnect the 2 connectors (A).

    3. Disconnect the 4 connectors (B).

    4. A019KOC

      Remove the 2 nuts.

    5. A019LWE

      Disengage the claw as shown in the illustration and disconnect the connector.

    6. A019P66

      Disengage the 2 claws and release the connector lock as shown in the illustration.

    7. A019KX6

      Disengage the claw as shown in the illustration and disconnect the connector and remove the instrument panel junction block assembly.

    REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL JUNCTION BLOCK ASSEMBLY (for RHD)


    1. A019LQ1

      Disconnect the 3 connectors.

    2. A019LFHE02

      Disengage the 2 claws as shown in the illustration and disconnect the 2 connectors (A).

    3. Disconnect the connector (B).

    4. A019K06

      Remove the bolt and nut.

    5. A019KXU

      Disengage the claw as shown in the illustration and disconnect the connector.

    6. A019P66

      Disengage the 2 claws and release the connector lock as shown in the illustration.

    7. A019KX6

      Disengage the claw as shown in the illustration and disconnect the connector and remove the instrument panel junction block assembly.

    REMOVE POWER MANAGEMENT CONTROL ECU (for LHD)


    1. A019JVU

      Remove the 2 nuts and power management control ECU.

    REMOVE WIRING HARNESS CLAMP BRACKET (for LHD)

      Remove the bolt and wiring harness clamp bracket from the instrument panel junction block assembly.

    REMOVE MAIN BODY ECU (MULTIPLEX NETWORK BODY ECU) (for LHD)

      Press the claw of the junction block as shown in the illustration to release the lock.

    2. With the junction block lock released, insert a screwdriver with its tip wrapped with protective tape horizontally between the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) and junction block.

      Note:

      Use a screwdriver with a diameter of between 5.0 mm (0.197 in.) and 6.3 mm (0.248 in.) and a length of approximately 90 mm (3.54 in.).

    3. A019OXOE03

      Using the screwdriver, carefully raise the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) up to the position where the connector becomes disengaged as shown in the illustration.

      Note:

      Do not twist the screwdriver to raise the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU).

      Raise the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) as shown by the arrow (1), and then pull it out as shown by the arrow (2) in the illustration.

      Note:

      Do not touch the ECU connector.

    REMOVE MAIN BODY ECU (MULTIPLEX NETWORK BODY ECU) (for RHD)

      Press the claw of the junction block as shown in the illustration to release the lock.

      Raise the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) as shown by the arrow (1), and then pull it out as shown by the arrow (2) in the illustration.

      Note:

      Do not touch the ECU connector.
