BATTERY CURRENT SENSOR REMOVAL


  1. PRECAUTION

    Note

    After the engine switch is turned off, the display and navigation module display (HDD navigation system) records various types of memory and settings. As a result, after turning the engine switch off, make sure to wait for the time specified in the following table before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.

  2. REMOVE ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER LH (for LHD)

      Remove the 4 clips.

    2. Disengage the guide and remove the engine room side cover LH.

  3. REMOVE ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER LH (for RHD)

      Remove the 4 clips.

    2. Disengage the guide and remove the engine room side cover LH.

  4. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

    CAUTION:

    Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to disable the SRS system.

    Note

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Click here.

  5. REMOVE BATTERY CURRENT SENSOR ASSEMBLY


    1. A019PB5E01

      Remove the nut.

    2. Remove the negative battery terminal cable and battery current sensor assembly from the negative battery terminal.

    3. A019P5WE05

      Disconnect the battery current sensor connector from the battery current sensor assembly.

    4. Remove the battery current sensor assembly from the negative battery terminal cable.
