DESCRIPTION

This DTC is stored if the multi-media module receiver assembly receives a signal via CAN communication from the spiral cable with sensor sub-assembly that indicates a power supply problem.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

Note


  • When "System initializing" is displayed on the multi-display assembly after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal, correct the steering angle neutral point Click here.

  • Depending on the parts that are replaced or operations that are performed during vehicle inspection or maintenance, calibration of other systems as well as the parking assist monitor system may be needed Click here.

  • Inspect the fuses for circuits related to this system before performing the following inspection procedure.

PROCEDURE


  1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (SPIRAL CABLE WITH SENSOR SUB-ASSEMBLY POWER SUPPLY)


    1. Disconnect the F43 spiral cable with sensor sub-assembly connector.

    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      F43-2 (ESS) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω
    3. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Voltage
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      F43-5 (IG) - F43-2 (ESS) Engine switch on (IG) 11 to 14 V
      F43-6 (BAT) - F43-2 (ESS) Always 11 to 14 V
