Use the following procedure to troubleshoot the parking assist monitor system (w/o side monitor system).

VEHICLE BROUGHT TO WORKSHOP
INSPECT BATTERY VOLTAGE
Measure the battery voltage.

| 11 to 14 V |
If the voltage is below 11 V, replace or recharge the battery before proceeding to the next step.
CHECK NAVIGATION SYSTEM

Check for DTCs (Click here).

CHECK FOR DTC (PARKING ASSIST MONITOR SYSTEM)*
Check for DTCs and note any codes that are output (Click here).
Clear the DTCs (Click here).
Recheck for DTCs. Try to prompt the DTC by simulating the original activity that the DTC suggests.
The multi-media module receiver assembly outputs DTCs for the following systems. When DTCs other than those in Diagnostic Trouble Code Chart for the parking assist monitor system (w/o side monitor system) are output, refer to Diagnostic Trouble Code Chart for the relevant systems.
