INSPECTION PROCEDURE

Note

Inspect the fuses for circuits related to this system before performing the following inspection procedure.

PROCEDURE


  1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (INNER REAR VIEW MIRROR ASSEMBLY POWER SUPPLY)


    1. Disconnect the T5 inner rear view mirror assembly connector.

    2. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Voltage
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      T5-1 (IG) - Body ground Engine switch on (IG) 11 to 14 V
      T5-1 (IG) - Body ground Engine switch off Below 1 V
    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      T5-2 (E) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω

  2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (INNER REAR VIEW MIRROR ASSEMBLY - MAP LIGHT ASSEMBLY)


    1. Disconnect the T10 map light assembly connector.

    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      T5-1 (IG) - T10-25 (IG1) Always Below 1 Ω
      T5-2 (E) - T10-20 (GND1) Always Below 1 Ω

  3. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (MAP LIGHT ASSEMBLY POWER SUPPLY)


    1. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Voltage
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      T10-26 (IG) - Body ground Engine switch on (IG) 11 to 14 V
      T10-26 (IG) - Body ground Engine switch off Below 1 V
    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
