INSPECTION PROCEDURE

Note

Inspect the fuses for circuits related to this system before performing the following inspection procedure.

PROCEDURE


  1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (RADIO RECEIVER ASSEMBLY - BATTERY, BODY GROUND)


    1. Disconnect the G37 and G38 radio receiver assembly connectors.

    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      G37-20 (GND1) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω

    3. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Voltage
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      G37-1 (+B1) - G37-20 (GND1) Always 11 to 14 V
      G37-11 (ACC) - G37-20 (GND1) Engine switch on (ACC) 11 to 14 V
      G38-1 (IG) - G37-20 (GND1) Engine switch on (IG) 11 to 14 V
