AIR COOLED OIL COOLER REMOVAL


  1. PRECAUTION (w/ Air Suspension)

  2. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER ASSEMBLY (for Standard)

  3. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER ASSEMBLY (for Sport Package)

    Click here

  4. DRAIN AUTOMATIC TRANSAXLE FLUID


    1. A019NHU

      Remove the refill plug and gasket from the automatic transaxle.

    2. A019L64

      Using a 6 mm hexagon socket wrench, remove the overflow plug and gasket from the automatic transaxle.

    3. A019MQT

      Using a 6 mm hexagon socket wrench, remove the No. 1 transmission oil filler tube from the automatic transaxle.

    4. Drain automatic transaxle fluid from the automatic transaxle.

    5. A019MQT

      Using a 6 mm hexagon socket wrench, install the No. 1 transmission oil filler tube to the automatic transaxle.

      Torque:
      1.7 N*m  { 17 kgf*cm, 15 in.*lbf }
    6. A019OTQ

      Using a 6 mm hexagon socket wrench, install a new gasket and the overflow plug to the automatic transaxle.

      Torque:
      40 N*m  { 408 kgf*cm, 30 ft.*lbf }
    7. A019NHU

      Temporarily install the gasket and the refill plug to the automatic transaxle.

  5. REMOVE AIR DUCT

      Remove the 2 bolts and air duct from the oil cooler assembly.

  6. REMOVE OIL COOLER ASSEMBLY

      *1 Oil Cooler Bracket
      *2 Oil Cooler Assembly

      Remove the bolt, 3 nuts and oil cooler bracket from the oil cooler assembly and body.

    2. Disconnect the 2 oil cooler hoses to remove the oil cooler assembly.
