VACUUM SWITCHING VALVE (for Engine Mounting) INSTALLATION


  1. INSTALL DUTY VACUUM SWITCHING VALVE


    1. A019OUL

      Connect the hose to the duty vacuum switching valve and install the duty vacuum switching valve with the bolt.

      Torque:
      4.0 N*m  { 41 kgf*cm, 35 in.*lbf }
    2. A019O2H

      Connect the duty vacuum switching valve connector and clamp.

    3. A019NXP

      Connect the 3 vacuum hoses and install the 3 vacuum hoses to the hose clamp.

  2. INSTALL NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER

  3. INSTALL NO. 1 AIR CLEANER INLET


    1. A019ND6

      Install the No. 1 air cleaner inlet with the bolt.

      Torque:
      8.0 N*m  { 82 kgf*cm, 71 in.*lbf }

    2. Connect the vacuum hose clamp to the No. 1 air cleaner inlet.

  4. INSTALL NO. 2 AIR CLEANER INLET


    1. A019O60

      Install the No. 2 air cleaner inlet with the 2 bolts.

      Torque:
      8.0 N*m  { 82 kgf*cm, 71 in.*lbf }

    2. Connect the 2 vacuum hose clamps to the No. 2 air cleaner inlet.

  5. INSTALL BATTERY


    1. Install the battery and battery tray.

    2. A019LTJ

      Install the battery clamp with the bolt and nut.

      Torque:
      5.4 N*m  { 55 kgf*cm, 48 in.*lbf }

    3. Connect the positive (+) cable to the positive (+) battery terminal.

      Torque:
      6.4 N*m  { 65 kgf*cm, 57 in.*lbf }

  6. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

    Note

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Click here.

  7. INSTALL V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. A019LVN

      Fit the 4 retainers and install the V-bank cover sub-assembly.

  8. INSTALL COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL (for LHD)


    1. Install the cool air intake duct seal with the 6 clips.

  9. INSTALL COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL (for RHD)


    1. Install the cool air intake duct seal with the 6 clips.

  10. INSTALL ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER LH (for LHD)


    1. Engage the guide.

    2. Install the engine room side cover LH with the 4 clips.

  11. INSTALL ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER LH (for RHD)


    1. Engage the guide.

    2. Install the engine room side cover LH with the 4 clips.

  12. INSTALL ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER (for LHD)


    1. Engage the guide.

    2. Install the engine room side cover with the 4 clips.

  13. INSTALL ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER (for RHD)


    1. Engage the guide.

    2. Install the engine room side cover with the 4 clips.
