SLIDING ROOF SYSTEM TERMINALS OF ECU


  1. CHECK SLIDING ROOF ECU (SLIDING ROOF DRIVE GEAR SUB-ASSEMBLY)


    1. Disconnect the T2 ECU connector.

      A019NDNE03

    2. Measure the resistance and voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Tech Tips

      Measure the values on the wire harness side with the connector disconnected.

      T2-1 (B) - T2-2 (E) P - W-B +B Power supply Always 11 to 14 V
      T2-5 (IG) - T2-2 (E) R - W-B Engine switch power supply Engine switch off Below 1 V
      T2-5 (IG) - T2-2 (E) R - W-B Engine switch power supply Engine switch on (IG) 11 to 14 V
      T2-2 (E) - Body ground W-B - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 Ω

      If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction in the wire harness.

    3. Reconnect the T2 ECU connector.

    4. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      T2-7 (OPN) - T2-2 (E) GR - W-B Sliding roof motor open Engine switch on (IG), SLIDE OPEN switch ON Below 1 V
      T2-7 (OPN) - T2-2 (E) GR - W-B Sliding roof motor open Engine switch on (IG), SLIDE OPEN switch OFF 11 to 14 V
      T2-9 (CLS) - T2-2 (E) B - W-B Sliding roof motor close Engine switch on (IG), SLIDE CLOSE switch ON Below 1 V
      T2-9 (CLS) - T2-2 (E) B - W-B Sliding roof motor close Engine switch on (IG), SLIDE CLOSE switch OFF 11 to 14 V
      T2-10 (UP) - T2-2 (E) SB - W-B Sliding roof motor up Engine switch on (IG), TILT UP switch ON Below 1 V
      T2-10 (UP) - T2-2 (E) SB - W-B Sliding roof motor up Engine switch on (IG), TILT UP switch OFF 11 to 14 V
      T2-8 (DWN) - T2-2 (E) G - W-B Sliding roof motor down Engine switch on (IG), TILT DOWN switch ON Below 1 V
      T2-8 (DWN) - T2-2 (E) G - W-B Sliding roof motor down Engine switch on (IG), TILT DOWN switch OFF 11 to 14 V

      If the result is not as specified, the sliding roof ECU (sliding roof drive gear sub-assembly) may have a malfunction.
