AIR CONDITIONING UNIT DISASSEMBLY


  1. REMOVE NO. 3 AIR DUCT SUB-ASSEMBLY

      Disengage the 2 claws and guide, and remove the No. 3 air duct sub-assembly as shown in the illustration.

  2. REMOVE NO. 5 AIR DUCT SUB-ASSEMBLY

      Disengage the 2 claws and guide, and remove the No. 5 air duct sub-assembly as shown in the illustration.

  3. REMOVE AIR CONDITIONING HARNESS ASSEMBLY


    1. Disconnect each connector.

    2. Disengage each clamp and remove the air conditioning harness assembly.

  4. REMOVE COOLER EXPANSION VALVE


    1. A019KHW

      Using a 4 mm hexagon wrench, remove the 2 hexagon bolts and cooler expansion valve.

  5. REMOVE AIR CONDITIONING RADIATOR ASSEMBLY


    1. A019OVO

      Remove the 2 screws.

    2. Disengage the 2 claws and remove the air conditioning radiator assembly.

  6. REMOVE NO. 2 AIR MIX DAMPER SERVO SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. A019KWM

      Remove the 2 screws and No. 2 air mix damper servo sub-assembly.

  7. REMOVE HEATER RADIATOR UNIT SUB-ASSEMBLY

      Disengage the 3 claws and remove the heater clamp.

    2. Remove the screw and clamp.

      Remove the heater radiator unit sub-assembly as shown in the illustration.

      Note

      Prepare a drain pan or cloth in case the cooling water leaks.

  8. REMOVE ASPIRATOR PIPE


    1. A019OUO

      Disengage the clamp.

    2. Disengage the 2 claws and remove the aspirator pipe.

  9. REMOVE COOLER EVAPORATOR SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. A019OIB

      Remove the 6 screws.

    2. Disengage the 5 claws and remove the plate cover.

    3. A019NJC

      Disengage the clamp and remove the cooler evaporator sub-assembly with the No. 1 cooler thermistor.

    4. A019OEH

      Remove the 2 O-rings from the cooler evaporator sub-assembly.

    5. A019KQW

      Disengage the 4 claws to remove the evaporator insulator.

  10. REMOVE NO. 1 COOLER THERMISTOR


    1. A019P0A

      Remove the No. 1 cooler thermistor.

  11. REMOVE NO. 1 AIR MIX DAMPER SERVO SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. A019MXL

      Remove the 3 screws and No. 1 air mix damper servo sub-assembly.
