  2. CHECK CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM


    1. Use the intelligent tester to check if the CAN communication system is functioning normally.

  3. CHECK AVC-LAN CIRCUIT


    1. Check for an open or short in all AVC-LAN circuits Click here (w/ Navigation System), Click here (w/ Audio and Visual System (w/ Multi-display)).

      There is no open or short circuit.

  4. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (POWER SOURCE, GROUND)


    1. Disconnect the multi-media module receiver assembly (A/C control panel) connector.*1

    2. Disconnect the radio receiver assembly (A/C control panel) connectors.*2

    3. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Voltage

  6. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (A/C AMPLIFIER - ACCESSORY METER ASSEMBLY)


    1. Disconnect the A/C amplifier connector.

    2. Disconnect the accessory meter assembly connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      F50-37 (LIN1) - G1-20 (LIN1) Always Below 1 Ω
      F50-37 (LIN1) - Body ground Always 10 k Ω or higher

  7. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (POWER SOURCE, GROUND)


    1. Disconnect the radio receiver assembly (A/C control panel) connector.

    2. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Voltage

      G7-1 (B) - Body ground Always 11 to 14 V
      G8-16 (ACC) - Body ground Engine switch off Below 1 V
      G8-16 (ACC) - Body ground Engine switch on (ACC) 11 to 14 V
    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      G8-9 (GND) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω
