FRONT PASSENGER SEAT BELT WARNING LIGHT INSPECTION


  1. INSPECT ACCESSORY METER ASSEMBLY (w/ Audio and Visual System (w/o Multi-display))

    Component without harness connected

    (Accessory Meter Assembly)

    1. Apply battery voltage from the wire harness back side between the terminals of the indicator, and check the lighting condition of the front passenger side seat belt warning light.

      Standard
      Measurement Condition Specified Condition

      Battery positive (+) → Terminal 2 (IG2)

      Battery negative (-) → Terminal 6 (PBEW)

      		 Front passenger side seat belt warning light comes on

      If the result is not as specified, replace the accessory meter assembly.

  2. INSPECT RADIO RECEIVER ASSEMBLY (w/ Audio and Visual System (w/ Multi-display))

    Component without harness connected

    (Radio Receiver Assembly)

    1. Apply battery voltage from the wire harness back side between the terminals of the indicator, and check the lighting condition of the front passenger side seat belt warning light.

      Standard
      Measurement Condition Specified Condition

      Battery positive (+) → Terminal 1 (IG)

      Battery negative (-) → Terminal 24 (PBEW)

      		 Front passenger side seat belt warning light comes on

      If the result is not as specified, replace the radio receiver assembly.

  3. INSPECT MULTI-MEDIA MODULE RECEIVER ASSEMBLY (w/ Navigation System)

    Component without harness connected

    (Multi-media Module Receiver Assembly)

    1. Apply battery voltage from the wire harness back side between the terminals of the indicator, and check the lighting condition of the front passenger side seat belt warning light.

      Standard
      Measurement Condition Specified Condition

      Battery positive (+) → Terminal 15 (IG)

      Battery negative (-) → Terminal 38 (PBEW)

      		 Front passenger side seat belt warning light comes on

      If the result is not as specified, replace the multi-media module receiver assembly.
