DESCRIPTION

When selecting ECO mode, the combination switch assembly operation signal is sent to the air conditioning amplifier assembly. Following this, ECO mode control is activated for the heater and air conditioning system.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

PROCEDURE


  1. READ VALUE USING GTS (CAN BUS CHECK)


    1. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the power switch on (IG).

    3. Enter the following menus: System Select / CAN Bus Check.

      Result
      Result Proceed to
      All of the ECUs and sensors that are currently connected to the CAN communication system are displayed. A
      None of the ECUs and sensors that are currently connected to the CAN communication system are displayed, or some of them are not displayed. for LHD B
      for RHD C
    4. Turn the power switch off.

  2. CHECK DTC OUTPUT (HEALTH CHECK)


    1. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the power switch on (IG).

    3. Enter the following menus: System Select / Health Check.

    4. Check DTCs.

      Result

      No DTCs are output. A
      DTCs are output. B
    5. Turn the power switch off.

  3. READ VALUE USING GTS (ECO MODE)


    1. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the power switch on (IG).

    3. Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Hybrid Control / Data List / ECO Mode.

    4. Read the value displayed on the GTS.

    1. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the power switch on (IG).

    3. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Air Conditioner / Data List / ECO Switch.

    4. Read the value displayed on the GTS.

  5. INSPECT COMBINATION SWITCH ASSEMBLY

    3. Install the combination switch assembly.

  6. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (COMBINATION SWITCH ASSEMBLY - BODY GROUND)


    1. Disconnect the N59 combination switch assembly connector.

  7. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (AIR CONDITIONING AMPLIFIER ASSEMBLY - COMBINATION SWITCH ASSEMBLY)


    1. Disconnect the N78 air conditioning amplifier assembly connector.

    2. Disconnect the N59 combination switch assembly connector.

    4. Reconnect the N59 combination switch assembly connector.

    5. Reconnect the N78 air conditioning amplifier assembly connector.
