REAR BUMPER DISASSEMBLY

PROCEDURE

1. REMOVE REAR LIGHT ASSEMBLY

2. REMOVE REAR SIDE UNDER OUTER SPOILER LH (for Sport Package)

   
   

   1. 

      Remove the 5 clips.

   2. Peel off the double-sided tape.

   3. 

      Disengage the claw and remove the rear side under outer spoiler LH.

3. REMOVE REAR SIDE UNDER OUTER SPOILER RH (for Sport Package)

   Tech Tips

   Use the same procedure for the RH and LH sides.

4. REMOVE REAR SIDE UNDER INNER SPOILER LH (for Sport Package)

   
   

   1. 

      Remove the 3 screws.

   2. Remove the 3 clips.

   3. 

      Disengage the guide.

   4. Slide the rear side under inner spoiler LH as shown in the illustration and remove it.

5. REMOVE REAR SIDE UNDER INNER SPOILER RH (for Sport Package)

   Tech Tips

   Use the same procedure for the RH and LH sides.

6. REMOVE REAR UNDER SPOILER COVER (for Sport Package)

   
   
   1.

      *1	Protective tape

      Using a screwdriver with its tip wrapped with protective tape, disengage the 2 claws.

   2. Disengage the 2 guides and remove the rear under spoiler cover.

      Tech Tips

      Use the same procedure as for the RH side.

7. REMOVE REAR UNDER SPOILER BRACKET (for Sport Package)

   
   

   1. 

      Remove the 4 bolts and the 2 rear under spoiler brackets.

8. REMOVE REAR CENTER UNDER SPOILER (for Sport Package)

   
   

   1. 

      Remove the 4 clips.

   2. 

      Remove the 2 clips.

   3. Disengage the hook and remove the rear center under spoiler.

9. REMOVE NO. 2 REAR BUMPER REINFORCEMENT

   
   

   1. 

      Remove the 2 clips and remove the No. 2 rear bumper reinforcement.

10. REMOVE NO. 1 REAR BUMPER REINFORCEMENT

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure as for the No. 2 rear bumper reinforcement.

11. REMOVE REAR BUMPER SIDE SEAL LH

    
    

    1. 

       Remove the 4 clips and rear bumper side seal LH.

12. REMOVE REAR BUMPER SIDE SEAL RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure for the RH and LH sides.

13. REMOVE REAR BUMPER SIDE RETAINER LH

    
    

    1. 

       Remove the 2 screws and the rear bumper side retainer LH.

14. REMOVE REAR BUMPER SIDE RETAINER RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure for the RH and LH sides.

15. REMOVE REAR BUMPER SIDE BRACKET LH

    
    

    1. 

       Remove the 3 screws and rear bumper side bracket LH.

16. REMOVE REAR BUMPER SIDE BRACKET RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure for the RH and LH sides.

17. REMOVE REAR BUMPER PROTECTOR (w/ Side Marker Light)

    
    

    1. 

       Remove the rear bumper protector.

18. REMOVE REAR BUMPER REINFORCEMENT (w/ Side Marker Light)

    
    

    1. 

       Remove the 4 bolts, 2 nuts and rear bumper reinforcement.

19. REMOVE REAR BUMPER REINFORCEMENT (w/o Side Marker Light)

    
    

    1. 

       Remove the 4 bolts, 2 nuts and rear bumper reinforcement.

20. REMOVE CENTER REAR BUMPER BRACKET

    
    

    1. 

       Remove the clip and the center rear bumper bracket.

       Tech Tips

       Use the same procedure for the RH and LH sides.

21. REMOVE REAR BUMPER HOLE COVER

    
    

    1. 

       Disengage the 4 claws to remove the rear bumper hole cover.
