FRONT BUMPER DISASSEMBLY

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE HOOD TO FRONT END PANEL SEAL

      Remove the 13 clips and hood to front end panel seal from the front bumper upper retainer.

  2. REMOVE NO. 2 FRONT BUMPER SIDE SUPPORT LH

      Remove the screw.

    2. A004J82

      Disengage the 2 claws and remove the No. 2 front bumper side support LH.

  3. REMOVE NO. 2 FRONT BUMPER SIDE SUPPORT RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  4. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER REINFORCEMENT PLATE LH

      Remove the 2 clips and the front bumper reinforcement plate LH.

  5. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER REINFORCEMENT PLATE RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  6. REMOVE FRONT LOWER BUMPER COVER


    1. A004KXD

      Remove the 3 bolts.

    2. Remove the 4 clips and the front lower bumper cover.

  7. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER STAY BRACKET

      Remove the 3 bolts and the front bumper stay bracket.

  8. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER ENERGY ABSORBER

      Remove the front bumper energy absorber.

  9. REMOVE RADIATOR COVER PLATE

      Remove the 6 clips and the radiator cover plate.

  10. REMOVE HIGH PITCHED HORN ASSEMBLY (except China)

  12. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER REINFORCEMENT SUB-ASSEMBLY

      Remove the 8 bolts and the front bumper reinforcement sub-assembly.

  13. REMOVE RADIATOR GRILLE (OR FRONT PANEL) EMBLEM

  14. REMOVE NO. 1 LOWER RADIATOR GRILLE


    1. A004HRY

      Disengage the 20 claws and remove the No. 1 lower radiator grille.

  15. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER HOLE COVER LH

      Remove the 3 screws and the front bumper hole cover LH.

  16. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER HOLE COVER RH

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  17. REMOVE FOG LIGHT ASSEMBLY LH (w/ Fog Light)

      Disengage the 10 claws and remove the fog light cover LH.

  23. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER HOLE COVER

      Disengage the 4 claws and remove the front bumper hole cover.

  24. REMOVE FRONT SPOILER COVER (for Sport Package)

      Remove the 3 clips.

    2. Peel off the double-sided tape.

      Disengage the 8 claws and remove the front spoiler cover.

  25. REMOVE FRONT SPOILER COVER LH (for Sport Package)

      Remove the clip.

    2. Peel off the double-sided tape.

      Disengage the claw and remove the front spoiler cover LH.

  26. REMOVE FRONT SPOILER COVER RH (for Sport Package)

      Remove the 2 screws.

      Put matchmarks on the front bumper cover as shown in the illustration before remove the rear spoiler retainer LH.

      Slide the rear spoiler retainer LH as shown in the illustration and remove it.

  28. REMOVE FRONT SPOILER RETAINER RH (for Sport Package)
