REAR LIGHT ASSEMBLY INSPECTION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSPECT BACK-UP LIGHT SOCKET AND WIRE

      Component without harness connected

      (Back-Up Light Socket and Wire)

      Apply battery voltage to the connector and check the light comes on.

    2. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Voltage
      Condition Specified Condition

      Battery positive (+) → 1

      Battery negative (-) → 3 (E)

      		 Back-up light comes on

      If the result is not as specified, replace the bulb or the back-up light socket and wire.

  2. INSPECT BACK-UP LIGHT SOCKET AND WIRE (w/ Rear Fog Light)

      (Back-Up Light Socket and Wire)

      Apply battery voltage to the connector and check the light comes on.

    2. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Voltage
      Condition Specified Condition

      Battery positive (+) → 2 (B)

      Battery negative (-) → 3 (E)

      		 Rear fog light comes on

      If the result is not as specified, replace the bulb or the back-up light socket and wire.
