  1. INSPECT HEADLIGHT CLEANER CONTROL RELAY

    Component without harness connected

    (Headlight Cleaner Control Relay)

    1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      6 (WRWA) - 4 (WF) Battery voltage not applied 10 kΩ or higher

      Battery positive (+) → 3 (H)

      Battery negative (-) → 4 (WF)

      Battery negative (-) → 5 (E)

      Battery positive (+) → 3 (H)

      Battery negative (-) → 2 (PB)

      Battery negative (-) → 4 (WF)

      		 Below 1 Ω for 0.6 to 1.0 seconds, then resistance increases by a large amount

      Battery positive (+) → 3 (H)

      Battery negative (-) → 1 (IG)

      Battery negative (-) → 4 (WF)

      Battery negative (-) → 5 (E)

      If the result is not as specified, replace the headlight cleaner switch assembly.
