WIPER SWITCH INSTALLATION

Tech Tips


  • Use the same procedure for the LHD and RHD vehicles.

  • The procedure listed below is for the LHD vehicles.

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL WINDSHIELD WIPER SWITCH ASSEMBLY


    1. A004KM6

      Engage the claw and install the windshield wiper switch assembly as shown in the illustration.

    2. Connect the connector.

  2. INSTALL UPPER STEERING COLUMN COVER


    1. Engage the 4 claws and install the upper steering column cover.

  3. INSTALL LOWER STEERING COLUMN COVER


    1. w/ Knee Airbag


      1. Engage the 4 claws to install the lower steering column cover.

    2. w/o Knee Airbag


      1. Engage the 6 claws to install the lower steering column cover.

    3. While turning the steering wheel assembly to the right and left, install the 2 screws.

  4. INSTALL STEERING COLUMN COVER SUPPORT (w/ Entry and Start System)


    1. Engage the 4 claws and install the steering column cover support.

  5. INSTALL NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/o Knee Airbag)

  7. INSTALL UPPER INSTRUMENT PANEL METER ORNAMENT

  8. INSTALL METER HOOD SUB-ASSEMBLY

  9. INSTALL INSTRUMENT PANEL ORNAMENT (w/ Large Ornament Panel)
