  • The procedure listed below is for the LHD vehicle.

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE INSTRUMENT SIDE PANEL LH

  2. REMOVE CENTER INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY

  3. REMOVE METER HOOD SUB-ASSEMBLY

  4. REMOVE UPPER INSTRUMENT PANEL METER ORNAMENT

  5. REMOVE NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/o Knee Airbag)

  6. REMOVE NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/ Knee Airbag)

  7. REMOVE STEERING COLUMN COVER SUPPORT (w/ Entry and Start System)

    1. Disengage the 4 claws and remove the steering column cover support.

  8. REMOVE LOWER STEERING COLUMN COVER

      While turning the steering wheel assembly to the right and left, remove the 2 screws.

    2. A004KUY

      w/ Knee Airbag


      1. Disengage the 4 claws and remove the lower steering column cover.

    3. A004JLL

      w/o Knee Airbag


      1. Disengage the 6 claws and remove the lower steering column cover.

  9. REMOVE UPPER STEERING COLUMN COVER

      Disengage the 2 claws and remove the upper steering column cover.

  10. REMOVE WINDSHIELD WIPER SWITCH ASSEMBLY

    *1 Protective Tape

    1. Disconnect the 2 connectors.

    2. Using a screwdriver, disengage the claw and remove the windshield wiper switch assembly as shown in the illustration.

      Note

      Do not press the claw too hard, as it mat get damaged.

      Tech Tips

      Tape the screwdriver tip before use.
