  • The procedure listed below is for the LHD vehicles.

PROCEDURE


  1. INSPECT WINDSHIELD WIPER MOTOR ASSEMBLY


    1. for LH Side

        *2 Cowl Panel End

        Operate the windshield wiper motor assembly.

      2. Stop the windshield wiper motor assembly operation.

      3. Check the automatic stop (park) position.

        Standard
        Area Standard Condition
        a 35.0 mm (1.378 in.)

        Tech Tips

        After the front wiper motor stops, check the automatic stop position after lifting the wiper blade 2 times.

        OK
        The front wipers stop at the positions shown in the illustration.

    2. for RH Side

        Operate the windshield wiper motor assembly.

      2. Stop the windshield wiper motor assembly operation.

      3. Check the automatic stop (park) position.

        a 33.0 mm (1.299 in.)

        Tech Tips

        After the front wiper motor stops, check the automatic stop position after lifting the wiper blade 2 times.
