OUTER REAR VIEW MIRROR INSTALLATION

Tech Tips


  • Use the same procedure for both the RH and LH sides.

  • The following procedure is for the LH side.

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL OUTER REAR VIEW MIRROR SUB-ASSEMBLY LH


    1. Retract the outer rear view mirror sub-assembly LH.

    2. Install the outer rear view mirror sub-assembly LH with the 3 bolts.

      Torque:
      7.5 N*m  { 76 kgf*cm, 66 in.*lbf }
    3. A004IOME02
      *a Matchmark

      Align the matchmark on the wire harness with the harness clip on the body side, and install the wire harness.

  2. INSTALL LOWER OUTER MIRROR COVER LH


    1. Engage the 5 claws and install the lower outer mirror cover LH.

  3. INSTALL FRONT DOOR SERVICE HOLE COVER LH
