LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR OPENER SYSTEM TERMINALS OF ECU

    *1 Instrument Panel Junction Block Assembly *2 Main Body ECU (Network Gateway ECU)

    1. Remove the main body ECU (network gateway ECU) from the instrument panel junction block assembly.

    2. Disconnect the D5* and D6 main body ECU (network gateway ECU) connectors.

    3. Measure the resistance and voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Tester Connection Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      D5-27 - Body ground* G - Body ground Luggage door opening cancel switch signal input Luggage door opening cancel switch assembly off 10 kΩ or higher
      Luggage door opening cancel switch assembly on Below 1 Ω
      D6-16 (TSW) - Body ground L - Body ground Luggage door opening switch signal input Luggage door opening switch assembly off 10 kΩ or higher
      Luggage door opening switch assembly on Below 1 Ω

      If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

    4. Reconnect the D5* and D6 main body ECU (network gateway ECU) connectors.

    5. Install the main body ECU (network gateway ECU) to the instrument panel junction block assembly.

    6. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Ignition switch ON

      Luggage door opening cancel switch on

      		 Below 1 V
      D6-16 (TSW) - Body ground L - Body ground Luggage compartment door lock motor drive output

      Ignition switch ON

      Luggage door opening switch on

      		 Below 1 V
      3B-6 - Body ground G - Body ground Luggage compartment door lock motor drive output

      Ignition switch ON

      Luggage door opening switch on

      		 11 to 14 V

      If the result is not as specified, the main body ECU (network gateway ECU) or instrument panel junction block assembly may have a malfunction.
