COMPRESSOR INSPECTION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSPECT COMPRESSOR WITH MAGNET CLUTCH

      Component without harness connected

      (compressor with magnet clutch)

      Disconnect the connector from the compressor with magnet clutch.

    2. Apply battery voltage to the clutch and check operation of the clutch.

      Standard Resistance
      Condition Specified Condition

      Battery positive (+) → Terminal 1

      Battery negative (-) → Body ground

      		 Magnet clutch is engaged

      If the result is not as specified, replace the compressor.
