PROCEDURE


  1. INSPECT FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY (for Driver Side)

      Component without harness connected

      (Front Seat Inner Belt Assembly (for Driver Side))

      Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      1 - 2 Driver seat belt unfastened Below 1 Ω
      1 - 2 Driver seat belt fastened 10 kΩ or higher

      If the result is not as specified, replace the front seat inner belt assembly (for Driver Side).

  2. INSPECT FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY (for Front Passenger Side)

      Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      A-2 - G3-2 Always Below 1 Ω
      A-1 - G3-1 Driver seat belt unfastened Below 1 Ω
      A-1 - G3-1 Driver seat belt fastened 10 kΩ or higher

      If the result is not as specified, replace the front seat inner belt assembly (for Front Passenger Side).
