REAR SEAT ASSEMBLY REASSEMBLY

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE REAR SEAT CUSHION COVER LH

      *1 Hog Ring
      *2 Hog Ring Pliers

      Using hog ring pliers, install the separate type rear seat cushion cover LH to the separate type rear seat cushion pad with 3 new hog rings.

      Note


      • Be careful not to damage the cover.

      • When installing the hog rings, take care to minimize wrinkles as much as possible.

    2. Using hog ring pliers, install 40 new hog rings.

  2. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE REAR SEAT CUSHION COVER RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  3. INSTALL REAR SEAT CUSHION BRACKET


    1. Install the rear seat cushion bracket to the rear seat cushion assembly LH with the screw.

      Tech Tips

      Use the same procedure as for both the LH side and RH side.

  4. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK LOCK SUB-ASSEMBLY LH


    1. Install the rear seatback lock sub-assembly LH with the 2 bolts.

      Torque:
      25 N*m  { 250 kgf*cm, 18 ft.*lbf }

  5. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK LOCK SUB-ASSEMBLY RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  6. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK LOCK RELEASE KNOB

      Rotate the rear seatback lock release knob clockwise to install it to the rear seatback lock rod LH.

      Tech Tips

      Use the same procedure as for both the LH side and RH side.

  7. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK LOCK ROD LH


    1. A004KYM

      Connect the rear seatback lock rod LH to the rear seatback lock sub-assembly LH as shown in the illustration.

    2. Engage the claw to install the rear seatback lock rod LH.

  8. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK LOCK ROD RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  9. INSTALL BENCH TYPE REAR SEATBACK COVER

      *2 Hog Ring Pliers

      Using hog ring pliers, install the bench type rear seatback cover to the bench type rear seatback pad with 10 new hog rings.

      Note


      • Be careful not to damage the cover.

      • When installing the hog rings, take care to minimize wrinkles as much as possible.

  10. INSTALL BENCH TYPE REAR SEATBACK COVER WITH PAD


    1. Temporarily install the bench type rear seatback cover with pad to the rear seatback frame assembly.

    2. Engage the 6 hooks to the rear seatback frame assembly.

    3. Engage the hook.

    4. Install the bench type rear seatback cover with pad with the 4 clips.

  11. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK LOCK COVER


    1. Engage the guide and 3 claws to install the rear seatback lock cover.

      Tech Tips

      Use the same procedure as for both the LH side and RH side.
