PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE RECLINING ADJUSTER RELEASE HANDLE

      *1 Protective Tape

      Using a screwdriver with its tip wrapped with protective tape, disengage the claw and remove the reclining adjuster release handle.

  2. REMOVE VERTICAL ADJUSTING HANDLE (for Driver Side)

      Remove the screw and vertical adjusting handle.

  3. REMOVE SEAT ADJUSTER COVER CAP

      *1 Protective Tape

      Using a screwdriver with its tip wrapped with protective tape, disengage the 3 claws to remove the seat adjuster cover cap.

  4. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD

      Remove the 2 screws.

    2. Disengage the 4 claws, 5 guides and clip to remove the front seat cushion shield.

  5. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER CUSHION SHIELD

      Disengage the 2 claws and 4 guides to remove the front seat inner cushion shield.

  6. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY (for Driver Side)

  7. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY (for Front Passenger Side)

  8. REMOVE SEAT LOCK BAND ASSEMBLY (for Fold Down Seat Type)

      Remove the screw and seat lock band assembly.

  9. REMOVE SEAT TRACK CONTROL CABLE ASSEMBLY (for Walk in Seat Type)

      Disengage the 2 claws to disconnect the seat track control cable assembly.

    2. Remove the seat track control cable assembly as shown in the illustration.

      Note

      Be careful not to damage the seat track control cable assembly.

  10. REMOVE SEAT TRACK CABLE BRACKET (for Walk in Seat Type)

      Remove the washer and seat track cable bracket.

  11. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK ASSEMBLY

      Disengage the 2 hooks.

    2. A004IPH

      Disconnect the rubber band of the separate type front seatback cover.

    3. A004HNN

      Disconnect the front seat heater connector and disengage the clamp. (w/ Seat Heater System)

    4. A004HTP

      Disengage the fastener and separate the front seat airbag assembly wire harness.

    5. A004JNX

      Disengage the claw and 4 clamps to separate the front seat airbag assembly wire harness.

    6. A004HR9

      Remove the washer (for Fold Down Seat Type).

    7. A004K1Y

      Using a T40 "TORX" socket wrench, remove the 4 bolts, separate type front seatback assembly and No. 2 front seat travel link.

  12. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK COVER WITH PAD

      Remove the 5 hog rings.

    2. A004KCA

      Open the 2 fasteners.

    3. Turn back the separate type front seatback cover.

    4. A004JVR

      Remove the 2 hog rings.

    5. A004IKY

      Disengage the 2 hooks.

    6. A004HH1

      Remove the nut and the 3 brackets.

    7. A004IHO

      Disengage the 4 claws and remove the 2 front seat headrest supports.

    8. Remove the separate type front seatback cover with pad from separate type front seatback spring assembly.

  13. REMOVE FRONT SEAT AIRBAG ASSEMBLY

  14. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK COVER

      Remove the 14 hog rings and separate type front seatback cover from the separate type front seatback pad.

    2. Remove the 7 front seatback cover wires from the separate type front seatback cover.

  15. REMOVE NO. 2 FRONT SEATBACK HOOK

      Disengage the 2 claws to remove the 2 No. 2 front seatback hooks from the separate type front seatback spring assembly.

  16. REMOVE FRONT SEATBACK SPRING SUB-ASSEMBLY

      Disengage the 2 claws and 2 hooks to remove the front seatback spring sub-assembly from the separate type front seatback spring assembly.

  17. REMOVE NO. 1 FRONT SEATBACK HOOK


    1. Remove the 2 No. 1 front seatback hooks from the front seatback spring sub-assembly.

  18. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER WITH PAD


    1. Disconnect the occupant detection sensor connector. (for Front Passenger side)

    2. A004HDW

      Disengage the claw and 3 clamps to separate the front seat heater wire harness. (w/ Seat Heater System)

    3. Disengage each hook and remove the separate type front seat cushion cover with pad from separate type front seat cushion spring assembly. (for Driver Side)

    4. Disengage each hook and remove the separate type front seat cushion cover with pad from separate type front seat cushion spring assembly. (for Front Passenger Side)

  19. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER


    1. A004IVH

      Remove the 2 hog rings.

    2. A004KFY

      Remove the 12 hog rings and the separate type front seat cushion cover from the separate type front seat cushion pad.

    3. Remove the 4 front seat cushion cover wires from the separate type front seat cushion cover.

  20. REMOVE FRONT SEAT LOWER CUSHION SHIELD LH (for Driver Side)


    1. A004HUY

      Remove the screw.

    2. Disengage the hook.

    3. Disengage the clip and remove the front seat lower cushion shield LH.

  21. REMOVE FRONT SEAT LOWER CUSHION SHIELD RH (for Driver Side)

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  22. REMOVE LH SEAT FRONT SEAT CUSHION EDGE PROTECTOR LH


    1. A004HFA

      Remove the screw.

    2. Disengage the 3 claws to remove the LH seat front seat cushion edge protector LH.

  23. REMOVE LH SEAT FRONT SEAT CUSHION EDGE PROTECTOR RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  24. REMOVE SEAT TRACK ADJUSTING HANDLE

      Using a screwdriver, disengage the 2 springs to remove the seat track adjusting handle from separate type front seat cushion spring assembly.

  25. REMOVE NO. 1 FRONT SEAT CUSHION PROTECTOR (for Driver Side)

      Disengage the claw to remove the No. 1 front seat cushion protector from the separate type front seat cushion spring assembly.

  26. REMOVE NO. 2 FRONT SEAT CUSHION PROTECTOR (w/o Seat Heater System)

      Disengage the claw to remove the No. 2 front seat cushion protector from the separate type front seat cushion spring assembly.

  27. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION SPRING

      Disengage the 8 hooks to remove the front seat cushion spring from the separate type front seat cushion spring assembly.
