PROCEDURE

    Note

    After turning the ignition switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal notices before proceeding with work Click here.

    Tech Tips


    • Use the same procedure for RHD and LHD vehicles.

    • The procedure listed below is for LHD vehicles.

  2. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY

  3. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL PASSENGER AIRBAG ASSEMBLY

    CAUTION:

    When storing the instrument panel passenger airbag assembly, keep the airbag deployment side facing upward.


    1. A004KPR

      Lean the instrument panel safety pad assembly and disengage the 5 hooks.

    2. A004JTG

      Disengage the 5 hooks to remove the instrument panel passenger airbag assembly from the upper instrument panel sub-assembly.
