PROCEDURE
INSPECT SPEEDOMETER
Check the operation.
Using a speedometer tester (calibrated chassis dynamometer), check the speedometer indication according to the table below.

Note
Tire wear, over inflation, or under inflation will cause errors.
Check the deviation from the acceptable range of the speedometer indication.

INSPECT TACHOMETER
Connect a tune-up tachometer, and start the engine.
Compare the test results with the tachometer indications.

INSPECT INDICATOR AND WARNING LIGHTS
Check the illumination function of the warning or indicator lights listed below when turning the ignition switch to ON.
| Warning or Indicator Light | Specified Condition |

| LOW FUEL | Warning or indicator light comes on for about 2 seconds after turning the ignition switch to ON. |
| A/T OIL TEMP*1 | Warning or indicator light comes on for about 2 or 3 seconds after turning the ignition switch to ON. |
| Leveling*2 | Warning or indicator light comes on for about 3 seconds after turning the ignition switch to ON. |
