  3. PRECAUTIONS FOR BATTERY

    1. Immediately after disconnecting and reconnecting the battery cable, the entry unlock function may not operate. If this occurs, the entry unlock function can be restored by performing a wireless door lock and unlock operation.

    2. After disconnecting and reconnecting the battery cable, the engine may not start on the first attempt. If this occurs, turn the engine switch off. The engine will start normally from the second time onward.

    3. The vehicle continually records the power source mode. When the battery cable is disconnected and reconnected, the power source mode returns to the mode it was in before the battery cable was disconnected. Always turn the engine switch off before disconnecting the battery cable.

      Note

If the vehicle battery is fully depleted and the previous power source mode is unknown, be extremely careful when reconnecting the battery cable.
