LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR LOCK INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE

1. INSTALL LUGGAGE CLOSER CABLE ASSEMBLY (w/ Lock Cylinder)

   
   

   1. Engage the clamp to install the luggage compartment door lock cable.

2. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR LOCK CYLINDER PACKING (w/ Lock Cylinder)

   
   

   1. Install the new luggage compartment door lock cylinder packing.

      Note

      Do not reuse the removed packing. Be sure to install a new luggage compartment door lock cylinder packing to prevent water ingress.

3. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR LOCK CYLINDER ASSEMBLY (w/ Lock Cylinder)

   
   

   1. Connect the luggage compartment door lock cable to the luggage compartment door lock cylinder assembly.

   2. Install the luggage compartment door lock cylinder assembly with the 2 nuts.

      Torque:

      4.5 N*m  { 46 kgf*cm, 40 in.*lbf }

4. INSTALL LUGGAGE DOOR CLOSER ASSEMBLY

   
   

   1. Install the luggage compartment door lock assembly with the 2 bolts.

      Torque:

      7.5 N*m  { 76 kgf*cm, 66 in.*lbf }

   2. Connect the luggage compartment door lock cable to the luggage compartment door lock assembly.

   3. Engage the claw to close the cover.

   4. Connect the connector.

5. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR COVER (w/ Entry and Start System)
