LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR LOCK REMOVAL

PROCEDURE

1. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR COVER (w/ Entry and Start System)

   Click here

2. REMOVE LUGGAGE DOOR CLOSER ASSEMBLY

   
   

   1. 

      Disconnect the connector.

   2. Disengage the claw and open the cover.

      *1	Luggage Closer Cable Assembly

      Disconnect the luggage closer cable assembly.

   4. 

      Remove the 2 bolts and the luggage door closer assembly.

3. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR LOCK CYLINDER ASSEMBLY (w/ Lock Cylinder)

   
   

   1. 

      Remove the 2 nuts and the luggage compartment door lock cylinder assembly.

      *1	Luggage Closer Cable Assembly

      Disconnect the luggage closer cable assembly.

4. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR LOCK CYLINDER PACKING (w/ Lock Cylinder)

      *1	Luggage Compartment Door Lock Cylinder Packing

      Remove the luggage compartment door lock cylinder packing.

      Note

      Do not reuse the removed packing. Be sure to install a new luggage compartment door lock cylinder packing to prevent water ingress.

5. REMOVE LUGGAGE CLOSER CABLE ASSEMBLY (w/ Lock Cylinder)

   
   

   1. 

      Disengage the clamp and remove the luggage closer cable assembly.
