DESCRIPTION

This door control receiver receives signals from the transmitter and sends these signals to the main body ECU (network gateway ECU).

Inspect the fuses for circuits related to this system before performing the following inspection procedure.

PROCEDURE


  1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (MAIN BODY ECU (NETWORK GATEWAY ECU) - DOOR CONTROL RECEIVER)


    1. Disconnect the D6 main body ECU (network gateway ECU) connector.

    2. Disconnect the H27 door control receiver connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      D6-6 (PRG) - H27-3 (PRG) Always Below 1 Ω
      D6-6 (PRG) or H27-3 (PRG) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      D6-7 (RDA) - H27-2 (RDA) Always Below 1 Ω
      D6-7 (RDA) or H27-2 (RDA) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

  2. INSPECT DOOR CONTROL RECEIVER (POWER SOURCE, GROUND)

      Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

  3. REPLACE DOOR CONTROL RECEIVER


    1. Temporarily replace the door control receiver with a new or normally functioning one Click here.

      Tech Tips

      If a new or normal functioning door control receiver is available, connect it and check if the wireless door lock function is normal or the DTC is output. If the alternative receiver functions normally, replace the original door control receiver.
