POWER STEERING ECU INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE


  1. PRECAUTION

    CAUTION:

    Be sure to read Precaution thoroughly before servicing Click here.

  2. INSTALL POWER STEERING ECU BRACKET (for LHD)


    1. Install the power steering ECU bracket with 4 screws.

  3. INSTALL POWER STEERING ECU ASSEMBLY (for LHD)


    1. Install the power steering ECU with the 2 bolts.

      Torque:
      10 N*m  { 102 kgf*cm, 7 ft.*lbf }

    2. Engage the clamp.

    3. Connect the 3 connectors to the power steering ECU assembly.

      *a Return the lock lever
      *b Push the lock

      Connect the connector to the power steering ECU assembly.


      1. As shown in the illustration, return the lock lever to its original position to connect the connector and securely push in the lock of the lock lever.

    5. Engage the clamp.

  4. INSTALL POWER STEERING ECU BRACKET (for RHD)


    1. Install the power steering ECU bracket with 4 screws.

  5. INSTALL POWER STEERING ECU ASSEMBLY (for RHD)


    1. Install the power steering ECU assembly with the 2 bolts.

      Torque:
      10 N*m  { 102 kgf*cm, 7 ft.*lbf }

    2. Connect the 3 connectors to the power steering ECU assembly.

      *a Return the lock lever
      *b Push the lock

      Connect the connector to the power steering ECU assembly.


      1. As shown in the illustration, return the lock lever to its original position to connect the connector and securely push in the lock of the lock lever.

    4. Engage the clamp.
