PROCEDURE


  1. INSPECT PARKING BRAKE SWITCH ASSEMBLY


    1. Check the resistance.


      1. A004KS2

        Using an ohmmeter, measure the resistance between the terminals.

        A004KUZ OFF
        Standard resistance
        Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition
        1 - Ground Released (ON) Below 1 Ω
        1 - Ground Pushed in (OFF) 10 kΩ or higher

        If the result is not as specified, replace the parking brake switch assembly.
