BRAKE MASTER CYLINDER(for RHD) INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL SEAL


    1. Install a new seal to the brake master cylinder sub-assembly.

  2. INSTALL BRAKE MASTER CYLINDER SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. Install the brake master cylinder sub-assembly to the brake booster assembly with the 2 nuts.

      Torque:
      13 N*m  { 133 kgf*cm, 10 ft.*lbf }

    2. Engage the 2 harness clamp.

    3. Using a union nut wrench 12, connect the 2 brake lines and install the brake master cylinder to way tube to the brake master cylinder sub-assembly.

      Torque:
      19 N*m  { 194 kgf*cm, 14 ft.*lbf }

      Use the formula to calculate special torque values for situations where the union nut wrench is combined with a torque wrench Click here.

    4. Connect the reservoir level switch connector.

  3. BLEED BRAKE SYSTEM

  4. INSTALL FRONT SUSPENSION UPPER TO COWL BRACE SUB-ASSEMBLY RH

    Click here

  5. INSTALL FRONT WHEEL RH

    Torque:
    120 N*m  { 1224 kgf*cm, 86 ft.*lbf }
