Tech Tips
Use the same procedure for RH and LH sides.
The procedure listed below is for LH side.
PROCEDURE
INSTALL NO. 1 FRONT FLEXIBLE HOSE
Temporarily install the NO. 1 front flexible hose with a new clip.
Note
Securely install the clip.
Hold the NO. 1 front flexible hose with a wrench using a union nut wrench.
Note
Do not bend or damage the brake tube.
Do not allow any foreign matter such as dirt and dust to enter the brake tube from the connecting point.
Use the formula to calculate special torque values for situations where a union nut wrench is combined with a torque wrench Click here.
Connect the No. 1 front flexible hose to the front shock absorber assembly with the bolt.
Install the No. 1 flexible hose to the disc brake cylinder assembly with 2 new gaskets and the new union bolt.
ADD BRAKE FLUID
BLEED BRAKE LINE
INSPECT BRAKE FLUID LEAK
INSPECT FLUID LEVEL
INSTALL FRONT WHEEL
