FRONT BRAKE(for Opposed Type Caliper) REASSEMBLY

PROCEDURE


  1. TEMPORARILY INSTALL FRONT DISC BRAKE BLEEDER PLUG


    1. Temporarily install the 2 front disc brake bleeder plugs to the front disc brake cylinder assembly.

  2. INSTALL FRONT DISC BRAKE BLEEDER PLUG CAP


    1. Install the 2 front disc brake bleeder plug caps on the front disc brake bleeder plugs.

  3. INSTALL PISTON SEAL

      A004HD0 Lithium Soap Base Glycol Grease

      Apply a light layer of lithium soap base glycol grease to the entire circumference of 4 new piston seals.

    2. Securely install the 4 piston seals into the grooves of the front disc brake cylinder assembly.

      Note

      Securely install the piston seal into the groove of the front disc brake cylinder assembly.

  4. INSTALL FRONT DISC BRAKE PISTON


    1. Apply a light layer of lithium soap base glycol grease to the entire circumference of 4 new cylinder boots as shown in the illustration.

    2. Securely install the 4 cylinder boots into the grooves of the 4 front disc brake pistons.

    3. Apply a light layer of lithium soap base glycol grease to the entire circumference of the 4 front disc brake pistons and install them to the front disc brake cylinder assembly.

      Note

      Do not install the piston forcibly in the disc brake cylinder.
