REAR STABILIZER BAR REMOVAL

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE REAR WHEELS

  2. SEPARATE REAR HEIGHT CONTROL SENSOR SUB-ASSEMBLY LH (w/ HID Headlight System)

  3. REMOVE STABILIZER LINK SUB-ASSEMBLY (for LH Side)


    1. A004JXR

      Remove the bolt, nut and separate the stabilizer link sub-assembly from the rear No. 2 suspension arm assembly LH.

    2. A004JCZ

      Using a socket hexagon 5 mm, hold the stud bolt and remove the nut and stabilizer link sub-assembly from the rear stabilizer bar.

      Tech Tips

      Using a socket hexagon wrench 5 mm to hold the stud.

  4. REMOVE STABILIZER LINK SUB-ASSEMBLY (for RH Side)

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

  5. REMOVE REAR STABILIZER BRACKET (for LH Side)


    1. A004IO6

      Remove the 2 bolts and rear stabilizer bracket.

  6. REMOVE REAR STABILIZER BRACKET (for RH Side)

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

  7. REMOVE REAR STABILIZER BAR


    1. Remove the 2 rear stabilizer bushings and the rear stabilizer bar.

  8. REMOVE REAR STABILIZER BAR BUSHING (for LH Side)


    1. Remove the rear stabilizer bar bushing from the rear stabilizer bar.

  9. REMOVE REAR STABILIZER BAR BUSHING (for RH Side)

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.
