PROPELLER SHAFT ASSEMBLY REMOVAL

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE CENTER EXHAUST PIPE ASSEMBLY

  2. REMOVE PROPELLER WITH CENTER BEARING SHAFT ASSEMBLY

      Place matchmarks on the differential companion flange and flexible coupling.

    2. Remove the 4 nuts, 4 bolts and 4 washers.

      Remove the 2 bolts.

    4. Disconnect the center support bearing.

    5. Remove the front propeller shaft with the center bearing assembly.

      Insert SST in the transmission to prevent oil leaks. (for Manual Transmission)

      Note

      Be careful not to damage the oil seal.
