CLUTCH MASTER CYLINDER(for LHD) REMOVAL

PROCEDURE


  1. DRAIN CLUTCH FLUID

  2. REMOVE INSTRUMENT SIDE PANEL LH (w/o Knee Airbag)

  3. REMOVE NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/o Knee Airbag)

  4. REMOVE LOWER NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL AIRBAG ASSEMBLY (w/ Knee Airbag)

  5. REMOVE CLUTCH MASTER CYLINDER PUSH ROD CLEVIS

      Remove the clip and the clevis pin, and separate the clutch master cylinder push rod clevis from the clutch pedal lever sub-assembly.

  6. REMOVE FRONT SUSPENSION UPPER TO COWL BRACE SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

  7. REMOVE CLUTCH MASTER CYLINDER ASSEMBLY

      Remove the union bolt, 2 gaskets and the master cylinder to the release cylinder hose from the clutch release cylinder assembly.

      Tech Tips

      Use a container to collect the fluid.

      Remove the 2 nuts and the clutch master cylinder assembly and sheet.

  8. REMOVE CLUTCH MASTER CYLINDER TO FLEXIBLE HOSE TUBE

    1. Using a union nut wrench (10 mm), disconnect the clutch master cylinder to flexible hose tube from the master cylinder to release cylinder hose.

      Tech Tips

      Use a container to collect the fluid.

    2. Remove the clip and the clutch flexible hose bracket.

    3. Using a union nut wrench (10 mm), remove the clutch master cylinder to flexible hose tube from the clutch master cylinder assembly.
