THERMOSTAT(for Engine Coolant) INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE

1. INSTALL THERMOSTAT

   
   

   1. Install a new thermostat gasket to the thermostat.

   2. Install the thermostat to the water outlet.

2. INSTALL WATER OUTLET

   
   

   1. Install the water outlet with the 2 bolts.

      Torque:

      6.4 N*m  { 65 kgf*cm, 57 in.*lbf }

3. CONNECT OUTLET RADIATOR HOSE

   
   

   1. Since the radiator hose must be attached in the correct position, apply match marks before removing it.

   2. Connect the outlet radiator hose to the water outlet with the hose clamp.

4. ADD ENGINE COOLANT

5. INSPECT FOR COOLANT LEAK

6. INSTALL EXHAUST MANIFOLD
