FUEL PUMP(for High Pressure) REMOVAL

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE INTAKE MANIFOLD

  2. REMOVE NO. 2 FUEL DELIVERY PIPE

    Click here

  3. DISCONNECT FUEL DELIVERY PIPE SUB-ASSEMBLY

      Remove the union bolt and gasket, and disconnect the fuel delivery pipe sub-assembly.

  4. REMOVE FUEL PUMP ASSEMBLY


    1. A004JEE

      Using a "TORX" Plus Socket Wrench, remove the 2 bolts and fuel pump assembly.

    2. Remove the O-ring from the fuel pump assembly.

  5. REMOVE VALVE LIFTER

      Remove the valve lifter from the pump drive case assembly.

  6. REMOVE PUMP DRIVE CASE ASSEMBLY


    1. A004I61

      Using a 6 mm hexagon wrench, remove the 3 bolts and pump drive case assembly.
