VACUUM SENSOR INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE

1. INSTALL MANIFOLD ABSOLUTE PRESSURE SENSOR

   
   

   1. Apply a light coat of engine oil to a new O-ring and install it to the manifold absolute pressure sensor.

   2. Install the manifold absolute pressure sensor with the bolt.

      Torque:

      for Resin Intake Manifold

      4.0 N*m  { 41 kgf*cm, 35 in.*lbf }

      for Aluminum Intake Manifold

      3.4 N*m  { 35 kgf*cm, 30 in.*lbf }

      Note

      
      

      • If a component has been dropped or subjected to a strong impact, replace it.

      • Make sure that the O-ring is not damaged or does not jump out of position during installation.

   3. Connect the manifold absolute pressure sensor connector.
