CAMSHAFT POSITION SENSOR INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE

1. INSTALL VVT SENSOR (for Exhaust Side of Bank 2)

   
   

   1. Apply a light coat of engine oil to the new O-ring of the VVT sensor.

   2. Install the VVT sensor with the bolt.

      Torque:

      6.4 N*m  { 65 kgf*cm, 57 in.*lbf }

   3. Connect the VVT sensor connector.

2. INSTALL NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER

3. INSTALL VVT SENSOR (for Intake Side of Bank 2)

   
   

   1. Apply a light coat of engine oil to the new O-ring of the VVT sensor.

   2. Install the VVT sensor with the bolt.

      Torque:

      6.4 N*m  { 65 kgf*cm, 57 in.*lbf }

   3. Connect the VVT sensor connector

4. INSTALL VVT SENSOR (for Exhaust Side of Bank 1)

   
   

   1. Apply a light coat of engine oil to the new O-ring of the VVT sensor.

   2. Install the VVT sensor with the bolt.

      Torque:

      6.4 N*m  { 65 kgf*cm, 57 in.*lbf }

   3. Connect the VVT sensor connector.

5. INSTALL VVT SENSOR (for Intake Side of Bank 1)

   
   

   1. Apply a light coat of engine oil to the new O-ring of the VVT sensor.

   2. Install the VVT sensor with the bolt.

      Torque:

      6.4 N*m  { 65 kgf*cm, 57 in.*lbf }

   3. Connect the VVT sensor connector.

6. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
