TCM INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE

1. INSTALL TCM

   
   

   1. for RHD:

      
      

      1. Install the TCM bracket to the TCM with the 2 nuts.

         Torque:

         7.5 N*m  { 76 kgf*cm, 66 in.*lbf }

      2. Install the 2 bolts and the TCM.

         Torque:

         18 N*m  { 184 kgf*cm, 13 ft.*lbf }

      3. Connect the 2 connectors.

   2. for LHD:

      
      

      1. Install the TCM bracket to the TCM with the 2 nuts.

         Torque:

         7.5 N*m  { 76 kgf*cm, 66 in.*lbf }

      2. Install the 2 nuts and the TCM.

         Torque:

         7.5 N*m  { 76 kgf*cm, 66 in.*lbf }

      3. Connect the 2 connectors.

2. INSTALL LOWER NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL AIRBAG ASSEMBLY (w/ Knee Airbag)

3. INSTALL NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY (for LHD without Driver Side Knee Airbag)

4. INSTALL INSTRUMENT SIDE PANEL LH (for LHD without Driver Side Knee Airbag)

5. RESET CHECK RESET MEMORY

   Click here

   Tech Tips

   When the automatic transmission assembly, transmission valve body assembly, and TCM are replaced, the TCM learning value must be cleared.
