FRONT BUMPER (for Sport Package) DISASSEMBLY


  1. REMOVE NO. 1 ULTRASONIC SENSOR (w/ LEXUS Parking Assist-sensor System)

      Disconnect the 4 ultrasonic sensor connectors and fog light connector.

      Tech Tips

      The illustration shows the No. 1 ultrasonic sensor for the RH corner. The horizontal orientation of the No. 1 ultrasonic sensor for the LH corner and front sensor LH and RH is opposite that of the image shown in the illustration.

      Detach the 2 claws and remove the No. 1 ultrasonic sensor.

      Tech Tips


      • The illustration shows the No. 1 ultrasonic sensor for the RH corner. The horizontal orientation of the No. 1 ultrasonic sensor for the LH corner and front sensor LH and RH is opposite that of the image shown in the illustration.

      • Use the same procedure for all No. 1 ultrasonic sensors.

      for Corner Sensor LH Side:

      Detach the clamp and remove the No. 1 ultrasonic sensor.

  2. REMOVE NO. 4 ENGINE ROOM WIRE (w/ LEXUS Parking Assist-sensor System)


    1. for Sport Package:

      A01FQOUE01

      Detach the 9 clamps and remove the No. 4 engine room wire.

    2. except Sport Package:

      Detach the 10 clamps and remove the No. 4 engine room wire.

  3. REMOVE NO. 1 ULTRASONIC SENSOR RETAINER (w/ LEXUS Parking Assist-sensor System)

      Detach 4 the claws and remove the No. 1 ultrasonic sensor retainer from the front bumper cover.

      Tech Tips


      • The illustration shows the No. 1 ultrasonic sensor retainer for the RH corner. The vertical orientation of the No. 1 ultrasonic sensor retainers for the LH corner and front sensor LH and RH is opposite that of the image shown in the illustration.

      • Use the same procedure for all No. 1 ultrasonic sensor retainers.

  4. REMOVE HEADLIGHT CLEANER WASHER NOZZLE COVER (w/ Headlight Cleaner System)

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure for both headlight cleaner washer nozzle covers.

      Extend the headlight cleaner washer nozzle cover.

    2. Disengage the 2 claws and remove the headlight cleaner washer nozzle cover.

  5. REMOVE HEADLIGHT WASHER ACTUATOR SUB-ASSEMBLY LH (w/ Headlight Cleaner System)

      for Sport Package:


      1. Remove the clamp.

    2. A01FSE8

      Remove the screw.

    3. Push the tab shown by allow (1) and disengage the 2 claws and remove the headlight washer actuator sub-assembly LH as shown in the illustration.

      Remove the spring nut from the headlight washer actuator sub-assembly LH.

  6. REMOVE HEADLIGHT WASHER ACTUATOR SUB-ASSEMBLY RH (w/ Headlight Cleaner System)

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

  7. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER EXTENSION MOUNTING BRACKET

      Remove the 2 screws and front bumper extension mounting bracket.

  8. REMOVE RADIATOR GRILLE PROTECTOR

      Detach the 16 clips and remove the radiator grille protector.

  9. REMOVE RADIATOR GRILLE

      Remove the 2 screws and 2 clips.

      Put protective tape around the radiator grille.

    3. Detach the 10 claws and remove the radiator grille.

  10. REMOVE LOWER NO. 1 RADIATOR GRILLE

      Detach the 16 claws and remove the lower No. 1 radiator grille.

  11. REMOVE NO. 2 RADIATOR GRILLE GARNISH

      Detach the 4 claws and remove the No. 2 radiator grille garnish.

  12. REMOVE RADIATOR GRILLE GARNISH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure described for the No. 2 radiator grille garnish.

  13. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER LOWER COVER

      Detach the 2 claws and remove the front bumper lower cover.

  14. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER PAD


    1. A01FUIT

      Remove the front bumper pad.
