REAR LIGHT ASSEMBLY INSTALLATION

Tech Tips


  • Use the same procedure for the RH and LH sides.

  • The procedure listed below is for the LH side.


  1. INSTALL REAR LIGHT SOCKET AND WIRE


    1. Attach the guide to install the rear light socket and wire to the rear light lens and body LH.

    2. Connect the connector.

  2. INSTALL BACK UP LIGHT BULB


    1. A01FUTU

      Install the back up light bulb to the rear light socket and wire.

    2. Turn the rear light socket and wire in the direction indicated by the arrow in the illustration to install the socket to the rear light lens and body LH.

  3. INSTALL REAR LIGHT GASKET LH


    1. install the rear light gasket LH to the rear light lens and body LH.

  4. INSTALL REAR LIGHT ASSEMBLY LH


    1. Connect the connector.

    2. Install the 4 nuts and rear light assembly LH.

      Torque:
      4.5 N*m  { 46 kgf*cm, 40 in.*lbf }

      Note

      If a clip is damaged or becomes detached from the vehicle, replace it with a new one.

  5. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR COVER


    1. Install the luggage compartment door cover with the 15 clips.

  6. INSTALL SWITCH BEZEL (w/ Power Trunk Lid System)


    1. Attach the 2 claws to install the switch bezel.

  7. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR ASSIST GRIP


    1. Install the luggage compartment door assist grip with the 2 screws.

    2. Attach the 2 claws and close the cover.

  8. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR INSIDE HANDLE (w/ Handle)


    1. Connect the luggage compartment door inside handle to the luggage door lock control cable sub-assembly.

  9. INSTALL LUGGAGE LOCK CONTROL CABLE PLATE (w/ Handle)


    1. Attach the 2 claws to install the luggage lock control cable plate.
