  1. INSPECT FUEL LID WITH LOCK MOTOR ASSEMBLY

      Component without harness connected

      (Fuel Lid with Lock Motor Assembly)

      Check the operation of the fuel lid with lock motor assembly.


      1. Apply auxiliary battery voltage to the fuel lid with lock motor assembly connector, and check that the fuel lid with lock motor assembly operates smoothly as follows.

        OK
        Measurement Condition Specified Condition

        Auxiliary battery positive (+) → Terminal 1

        Auxiliary battery negative (-) → Terminal 2

        		 Unlock

        Auxiliary battery positive (+) → Terminal 2

        Auxiliary battery negative (-) → Terminal 1

        		 Lock

        If the result is not as specified, replace the fuel lid with lock motor assembly.

    2. Measure the shaft stroke.

      OK
      Area Lock Condition Specified Condition
      A Unlock 11 mm (0.433 in.)
      Lock 0 mm (0 in.)

      If the result is not as specified, replace the fuel lid with lock motor assembly.
