LUGGAGE DOOR HINGE TORSION BAR INSTALLATION

CAUTION:

Remove the luggage door hinge torsion bar while holding the luggage compartment door panel.

Note


  • Install the luggage door hinge torsion bar RH first, and then the luggage door hinge torsion bar LH.

  • After installing the luggage door hinge torsion bar, use your hand to open and close the luggage compartment door panel. Make sure the luggage compartment door panel opens and closes smoothly.


  1. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR TORSION BAR SUPPORT


    1. Rotate the luggage compartment door torsion bar support to install the luggage compartment door torsion bar support.

  2. INSTALL LUGGAGE DOOR HINGE TORSION BAR RH

      Install the washer (90201-10008) to SST as shown in the illustration.

      Attach the 3 guides.

      Using SST, connect the luggage door hinge torsion bar to the luggage compartment door hinge as shown in the illustration.

    4. Connect the luggage door hinge torsion bar to the luggage compartment door torsion bar support.

      Using SST, connect the luggage door hinge torsion bar to the luggage compartment door hinge as shown in the illustration.

    4. Connect the luggage door hinge torsion bar to the luggage compartment door torsion bar support.

    5. Attach the 2 claws to close the cover.

  4. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR HINGE COVER LH


    1. Install the luggage compartment door hinge cover with the 3 clips.

  5. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR HINGE COVER RH


    1. Attach the clip to install the luggage compartment door hinge cover.

    2. Install the 3 clips.

  6. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR COVER


    1. Install the luggage compartment door cover with the 15 clips.

  7. INSTALL SWITCH BEZEL (w/ Power Trunk Lid System)


    1. Attach the 2 claws to install the switch bezel.

  8. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR ASSIST GRIP


    1. Install the luggage compartment door assist grip with the 2 screws.

    2. Attach the 2 claws and close the cover.

  9. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR INSIDE HANDLE (w/ Handle)


    1. Connect the luggage compartment door inside handle to the luggage door lock control cable.

  10. INSTALL LUGGAGE LOCK CONTROL CABLE PLATE (w/ Handle)


    1. Attach the 2 claws to install the luggage lock control cable plate.

  11. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM INNER COVER LH


    1. w/o Power Trunk Lid System:


      1. Install the luggage compartment trim inner cover with the 3 clips.

    2. w/ Power Trunk Lid System:


      1. Attach the claw to install the luggage compartment trim inner cover.

      2. Install the 2 clips.

  12. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM INNER COVER RH


    1. Install the luggage compartment trim inner cover with the 3 clips.

  13. INSTALL ROPE HOOK

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure for both rope hooks.


    1. Rotate the rope hook to install the rope hook.

  14. INSTALL FRONT LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER


    1. Install the luggage compartment trim cover with the 3 clips and 2 nuts.

  15. INSTALL REAR FLOOR FINISH PLATE


    1. Attach the 6 clips to install the rear floor finish plate.

    2. Install the 3 clips.

  16. INSTALL REAR LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER


    1. Install the rear luggage compartment trim cover with the 5 clips.

  17. INSTALL NO. 1 LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT LIGHT ASSEMBLY


    1. A01FUD3

      Connect the connector.

    2. Attach the 2 claws to install the No. 1 luggage compartment light assembly.

  18. INSTALL NO. 1 LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM HOOK


    1. Attach the 2 claws to install the No. 1 luggage compartment trim hook.

  19. INSTALL REAR LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRAY BRACKET LH


    1. Attach the claw to install the rear luggage compartment tray bracket.

    2. Install the clip.

  20. INSTALL REAR LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRAY BRACKET RH

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

  21. INSTALL ROPE HOOK ASSEMBLY

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure for all rope hooks.


    1. Install the rope hook with the bolt.

    2. Attach the 2 claws to close the cover.

  22. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT SIDE TRAY (w/ Spare Tire)


    1. Install the luggage compartment side tray.

  23. INSTALL SPARE WHEEL COVER TRAY (w/o Spare Tire)


    1. Install the spare wheel cover tray.

  24. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM BOX (w/o Spare Tire)


    1. Install the luggage compartment trim box.
