LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR REASSEMBLY


  1. INSTALL LICENSE PLATE LIGHT ASSEMBLY


    1. A01FQOGE01

      Connect the connector.

    2. Attach the 2 claws as indicated by the arrows in the order shown in the illustration and install the license plate light assembly.

  2. INSTALL LUGGAGE ELECTRICAL KEY SWITCH


    1. Install the luggage electrical key switch with the 2 screws.

    2. Connect the connector.

  3. INSTALL REAR TELEVISION CAMERA ASSEMBLY


    1. Connect the connector.

    2. Attach the 2 claws to install the rear television camera assembly.

  4. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR OUTSIDE GARNISH SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. Attach the 4 clips to install the luggage compartment door outside garnish.

    2. Install the 4 screws.

  5. INSTALL NO. 3 LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR OUTSIDE GARNISH


    1. Attach the 4 claws to install the No. 3 luggage compartment door outside garnish.

  6. INSTALL NO. 2 LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR OUTSIDE GARNISH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure described for the No. 3 luggage compartment door outside garnish.

  7. INSTALL REAR LIGHT ASSEMBLY LH


    1. Connect the connector.

    2. Install the 4 nuts and rear light assembly LH.

      Torque:
      4.5 N*m  { 46 kgf*cm, 40 in.*lbf }

      Note

      If a clip is damaged or becomes detached from the vehicle, replace it with a new one.

  8. INSTALL REAR LIGHT ASSEMBLY RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

  9. INSTALL REAR SPOILER SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/ Rear Spoiler)

    Tech Tips

    When installing the rear spoiler, heat the vehicle body and rear spoiler using a heat light.

    Standard
    Item Temperature
    Vehicle Body 40 to 60°C (104 to 140°F)
    Rear Spoiler 20 to 30°C (68 to 86°F)

    Note

    Do not heat the vehicle body or rear spoiler excessively.


    1. Clean the vehicle body surface.


      1. Using a heat light, heat the vehicle body surface.

      2. Remove the double-sided tape from the vehicle body.

      3. Wipe off any tape adhesive residue with cleaner.

    2. Install a new rear spoiler.


      1. Using a heat light, heat the vehicle body and a new rear spoiler.

      2. Remove the peeling paper from the face of the rear spoiler.

        Tech Tips

        After removing the peeling paper, keep the exposed adhesive free from foreign matter.

      3. Attach the 5 clips to install the rear spoiler.

        Tech Tips

        Press the rear spoiler firmly to install it.

    3. Install the 2 nuts.

  10. INSTALL LUGGAGE DOOR LOCK CONTROL CABLE SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. Attach the luggage door lock control cable sub-assembly to the luggage compartment door lock cylinder assembly.

  11. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT KEY CYLINDER PROTECTOR


    1. Install the luggage compartment key cylinder protector to the luggage compartment door lock cylinder assembly with the nut.

  12. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR LOCK CYLINDER ASSEMBLY


    1. A01FS58

      Pass the luggage door lock control cable sub-assembly through the luggage compartment door panel as shown in the illustration.

    2. Install the luggage compartment door lock cylinder assembly with the 2 nuts.

      Torque:
      5.5 N*m  { 56 kgf*cm, 49 in.*lbf }

    3. Connect the connector.

    4. Attach the clamp of the luggage door lock control cable sub-assembly.

  13. INSTALL LUGGAGE LOCK CONTROL CABLE CLAMP (w/ Handle)


    1. Attach the guide and claw to install the luggage lock control cable clamp.

  14. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR LOCK ASSEMBLY


    1. Install the luggage compartment door lock assembly with the 2 bolts.

      Torque:
      5.5 N*m  { 56 kgf*cm, 49 in.*lbf }

    2. Connect the luggage door lock control cable sub-assembly.

    3. Connect the connector.

  15. INSTALL LUGGAGE DOOR LOCK CONTROL CABLE SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/ Handle)


    1. Attach the clamp of the luggage compartment door lock assembly and the clamp of the luggage lock control cable clamp to install the luggage door lock control cable sub-assembly.

  16. INSTALL DOOR CONTROL SWITCH (w/ Power Trunk Lid System)


    1. Install the door control switch with the 2 bolts.

    2. Connect the connector.

  17. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR HINGE COVER LH


    1. Install the luggage compartment door hinge cover LH with the 3 clips.

  18. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR HINGE COVER RH


    1. Attach the clip to install the luggage compartment door hinge cover RH.

    2. Install the 3 clips.

  19. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM INNER COVER LH

  21. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR COVER


    1. Install the luggage compartment door cover with the 15 clips.

  22. INSTALL SWITCH BEZEL (w/ Power Trunk Lid System)


    1. Attach the 2 claws to install the switch bezel.

  23. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR ASSIST GRIP


    1. Install the luggage compartment door assist grip with the 2 screws.

    2. Attach the 2 claws and close the cover.

  24. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR INSIDE HANDLE (w/ Handle)


    1. Connect the luggage compartment door inside handle to the luggage door lock control cable sub-assembly.

  25. INSTALL LUGGAGE LOCK CONTROL CABLE PLATE (w/ Handle)


    1. Attach the 2 claws to install the luggage lock control cable plate.
